Capacity Building Workshops on Methods for Size Estimation of Most-at-Risk Populations March 2-5, 2010 Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania

The first regional workshop on size estimation of most-at-risk populations will take place in Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania from March 2-5, 2010. This workshop has been planned for participants from the following countries: Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, and Uganda.

The three and a half-day workshop will:

• Provide detailed information on various methods for conducting size estimation
• Provide the workshop participants with the information and skills needed to conduct size estimation
• Assist the participants to select the most suitable method for implementation
• Assist in the development of an implementation plan.
