The Kivulini Women's Rights Organization's core purpose is to build momentum for the prevention of domestic violence against women in the Lake Victoria Regions of Tanzania by: mobilizing communities to take action; strengthening the capacity of NGOs, CBOs and local government institutions; and advocating and influencing local and national key policies that empower and benefit women.

Goal of the Practice
  • To reduce the prevalence rate of domestic violence against women perpetuated by HIV/AIDS
  • To strengthen the capacities of community institutions to effectively implement prevention programs on domestic violence against women perpetuated by HIV/AIDS
