AIDSTAR-One provides a platform for global technical leadership and knowledge management to support the piloting and scale-up of high-quality treatment services. Resources and services available from AIDSTAR-One include a database of national HIV treatment guidelines, technical briefs, and programmatic support and technical assistance.

AIDSTAR-One good and promising practices include descriptions of successful approaches to HIV treatment as well as links to tools and resources to enable program planners to replicate evidence-informed HIV treatment programs.

AIDSTAR-One technical briefs provide syntheses and systematic reviews of core programmatic components of HIV treatment programs, and are designed to help address the information needs of program planners to design, implement and monitor high-quality HIV service delivery activities.

This database includes more than 30 national HIV treatment guidelines with updates completed on a quarterly basis. You can search by Country below and view downloadable versions of the guidelines.

New HIV Treatment Guideline Summaries

AIDSTAR-One has expanded the National Treatment Guidelines Database to include guidelines from over 30 countries. As countries revise their guidelines based on the 2010 WHO recommendations, AIDSTAR-One will continue to update the Database.

ART Costing Crosswalk Analysis

Mathematical models can help policymakers estimate the resources that expanded services will require as countries strive to achieve universal access to ART. This crosswalk analysis evaluates and compares nine ART costing models, including model utility, data output, impact on policy decisions.

Pediatric HIV Treatment Toolkit

More than 2 million children are infected with HIV; without treatment, about half of HIV-infected infants will die before the age of two. The Pediatric HIV Treatment Toolkit provides tools, resources, and training materials for managing pediatric HIV care and treatment services to meet the latest WHO and national treatment guidelines.
