AIDSTAR-One has identified and documented lessons from promising programs about how to integrate multiple gender strategies into HIV/AIDS programs in Integrating Multiple Gender Strategies to Improve HIV and AIDS Interventions: A Compendium of Programs in Africa.
Know of a program that integrates gender into HIV programming for most at risk populations? Tell us more....
USAID missions in any PEPFAR non-focus country can access technical assistance or program implementation support from AIDSTAR-One via field support transfers.
However, this mechanism cannot be used to support procurement of commodities or to conduct operations research. Other mechanisms, specifically SCMS and SEARCH, are in place to support these needs.
For guidance on field support transfers, please communicate with the AIDSTAR-One CTO listed below, and consult the following ADS chapter: http://www.usaid.gov/policy/ads/300/302sal.pdf
USAID Bureaus, technical working groups, and other USG agencies can also access technical services from AIDSTAR-One. Contact the USAID CTO for further guidance.
