About AIDSTAR-One
AIDSTAR-One is the U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID) global HIV and AIDS project that provides technical assistance services to the Office of HIV/AIDS and U.S. Government (USG) country teams across a broad range of HIV and AIDS-related technical areas. Targeted assistance includes:

- Program implementation support: AIDSTAR-One is designed to provide a rapid response to meet the needs of USG country teams across the spectrum of program areas, including HIV prevention, treatment, care and support in generalized, mixed and concentrated epidemic settings.
- Technical leadership, program sustainability, and strategic planning: AIDSTAR-One provides technical assistance and program implementation support to a variety of USAID Missions and Bureaus, as well as global technical leadership activities on behalf of The U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief's (PEPFAR) Technical Working Groups.
